A14.1.09.401 Pars basalis telencephali This new section includes structures that in previous terminology lists have been scattered throughout other sections. It is noted, however. that the pars basalis telencephali includes some structures that may also be referred to as parts of the nuclei basalis (e.g ., pallidum ventrale, striatum ventrale).
A14.1.09.402 Corpus amygdaloideum This was listed as a component part of the nuclei basalis in previous terminologies, and functions largely outside activities governed by the nuclei basalis. Consequently, it is listed here in the correct location within the pars basalis telencephali (see A14.1.09.401).
A14.1.09.407 Nucleus basalis lateralis amygdalae The original source term contains an inversion between a genitive complement and the two adjectives, which is not compatible with the rules of Regular Anatomical Terminology.
A14.1.09.408 Nucleus basalis medialis amygdalae The original source term contains an inversion between a genitive complement and the two adjectives, which is not compatible with the rules of Regular Anatomical Terminology.
A14.1.09.409 Nucleus centralis amygdalae The original source term contains an inversion between a genitive complement and the adjective, which is not compatible with the rules of Regular Anatomical Terminology.
A14.1.09.410 Nucleus corticalis amygdalae The original source term contains an inversion between a genitive complement and the adjective, which is not compatible with the rules of Regular Anatomical Terminology.
A14.1.09.411 Nucleus interstitialis amygdalae The original source term contains an inversion between a genitive complement and the adjective, which is not compatible with the rules of Regular Anatomical Terminology.
A14.1.09.412 Nucleus lateralis amygdalae The original source term contains an inversion between a genitive complement and the adjective, which is not compatible with the rules of Regular Anatomical Terminology.
A14.1.09.413 Nucleus medialis amygdalae The original source term contains an inversion between a genitive complement and the adjective, which is not compatible with the rules of Regular Anatomical Terminology.
A14.1.09.419 Nucleus striae terminalis/pars sublenticularis amygdalae/substantia innominata ln the pars basalis telencephali, the pars sublenticularis amygdalae (which includes the nuclei amygdalarum centralis et medialis), the nuclei striae terminalis, the substantia innominata, the striatum ventrale and the pallidum ventrale form a continuous grey complex.
A14.1.09.420 Nucleus striae terminalis/pars sublenticularis amygdalae/substantia innominata ln the pars basalis telencephali, the pars sublenticularis amygdalae (which includes the nuclei amygdalarum centralis et medialis), the nuclei striae terminalis, the substantia innominata, the striatum ventrale and the pallidum ventrale form a continuous grey complex.
A14.1.09.426 Nucleus striae terminalis/pars sublenticularis amygdalae/substantia innominata ln the pars basalis telencephali, the pars sublenticularis amygdalae (which includes the nuclei amygdalarum centralis et medialis), the nuclei striae terminalis, the substantia innominata, the striatum ventrale and the pallidum ventrale form a continuous grey complex.
